Usually on these courses we find a nice open crevasse to practice crevasse rescue in. There is no alternative to dropping everyone in a real crevasse and having them practice with real weight. Unfortunately the glaciers were a bit buried. I found this crevasse by falling in it. Here is one of the students falling in.

On the way across the glacier to find a crevasse.

A closer shot of the fall.

Heading back down.

As we were heading down a group of climbers were heading up Colfax Peak.

I visited the Washington recently before my philadelphia to new york bus tour. But unfortunately! I did get a chance to explore the Colfax Peak and Mount Baker there because I just spent 3 days in Washington. During these 3 days I could only visit The Grand Coulee Dam, Columbia River, Space Needle Tower and Olympic National Park. Now after reading this blog post I wish to travel around Washington again and discover this lovely mountain site because such kind of natural attractions always grab my attention and encourage me to walk around this beautiful world.
